The iPod revolutionized the technology world, and sold approx 200 million in the first 6 years since it hit the market. There seems to be a ever increasing amount of new compact mobile gadgets being introduced to consumers every year.
Nowadays wireless mobile technology is growing massively, with gadgets getting smaller and smaller, and wire being a thing of the past!!
These cool devices, although still needed a lot of improvement in my opinion, are pretty innovative, as they allow you to store hours of movies and images, or even power point slides, that you can project onto any surface at ease. Imagine being able to play your favorite Xbox games on the bedroom wall!!
These projectors have the power to project a picture of 42 inches from 5 feet away which is truly amazing considering it is small enough to fit in your pocket. Most projectors, the kind you use for a business power point presentation, are far from mobile and are in my opinion are outdated.
Better quality mini projectors are compatible with iPods, laptops, gaming consoles, camcorders etc...which makes for a pretty neat and versatile little widget.
Aiptek are leading the way with mini projectors and have released some impressive models. However some consumers have complained about a lack of compatibility with Mac and also many movie files. In addition to this, over heating has also been reported.
Most popular models can also support SDHC cards that have 32GB of memory you will have hours upon hours of movies stored and at your finger tips.
Although there is room for improvement, as the first models of mini projectors have only come out recently, I feel they have potential to have a huge impact and continue to grow in demand and popularity with the consumer electronic market.
